Jennifer Lopez to Perform On 'American Idol'
Access Hollywood has learned from reliable sources that Jennifer Lopez has been scheduled perform on "American Idol" on April 11.
J. Lo joins a long line of big time acts to take the "Idol" stage over the years, including Prince, Mary J. Blige, Rascal Flatts, Shakira and more.
Access has also heard very strong rumors that Gwen Stefani is slated to perform on "Idol" on March 28th.
FOX has announced season three winner Fantasia will perform on the show this Thursday to perform and reportedly announce that she'll be joining the cast of Oprah Winfrey's "The Color Purple" on Broadway.
This year's "Idol" competition is now down to the final 24, with the top 12 men performing on Tuesday night, followed by the final 12 ladies on Wednesday.
Access has also heard very strong rumors that Gwen Stefani is slated to perform on "Idol" on March 28th.

Earlier this month, Michael Jackson shot down rumors that he would perform on the "Idol" stage this year.
"There is absolutely no truth to the rumor that Michael Jackson is going to appear on 'American Idol,'" Jackson's rep Raymone Bain told Access. "He has signed no agreements with anyone. Robin Leach's story is inaccurate."
"American Idol" executive producer Nigel Lythgoe also dispelled the rumors of an MJ appearance.
"It's not true. It's just not true," Lythgoe said. "We won't be seeing him."
However, Lythgoe did hint that fans were in for quite a treat this year, but remained mum on who or what it might be.
"It's the biggest thing to happen to 'Idol' in five years," Lythgoe said at the time.
It appears the cat is officially out of the "Idol" bag.
