American Idol Kelly Clarkson in Meltdown Mode Says Magazine

American Idol champ Kelly Clarkson is having an emotional meltdown as she watches her personal life and music career crumble a report set for newsstands today claims. Kelly suffers from constant crying jags and has packed on thirty-two pounds trying to soothe her loneliness with food, a report from David Perel's National Enquirer claims in this week's issue.

And even worse, It's all happening as her summer tour has been canceled due to low ticket sales, the final blow in a tumultuous few months. Kelly recently fired her manager and has been battling with Clive Davis, the powerful head of her record label.

The career setbacks have left her a mess, sources say. "Everything in Kelly's life seems to have skidded out of control all at once, and she's having a serious meltdown!" a pal told The Enquirer. "Kelly's become a very sad person." Added a source: "Clearly her problem is low self-esteem. She cries all the time and complains that no man will love her looking like she does, then she eats to comfort herself."

A music source adds that Clarkson has had trouble adjusting to her fame ever since she won her two Grammy Awards last year. "She saw everything she worked so hard for come true, then it was like, 'Welcome to the cold reality of show business,'" the source said.

"Everyone wanted a piece of her after that, and she became Kelly The Corporation." A pal added: "In some ways success has turned out to be the worst thing that's ever happened to Kelly."
